What we do
Nobody photographs this part
Removal is where a renovation gets messy, and where corners get cut hardest, because the client never sees it once the new tiles are down. But whatever is left behind, whether that is ridges of old adhesive, a cracked screed or a torn membrane, is exactly what the new floor has to sit on.
We remove with dust extraction so the rest of the house stays liveable, take the surface back properly, and then tell you honestly what the substrate underneath actually needs.
- Dust extraction on grinders and breakers to limit the spread
- Adjoining rooms sealed off and protected
- Old adhesive and screed ground back to a sound surface
- Substrate assessed and reported before new work is priced
- Damaged membrane cut out and made good, not tiled over
- All waste removed and disposed of, included in the quote
